Anyway back to Darlington, they also have a cat and everyone who knows me knows how much I love cats and how hard it was for me to leave my Thomas behind in the UK. So I am looking forward to enjoying some feline company again.
Above is a pic of my beloved Thomas in my garden in the UK. He is now safely ensconced at my friend Kathys house in Wooburn Green and living the life of Riley. Kathy has picked up the baton and is thoroughly spoiling him. On a recent trip to the UK I went to visit him and witnessed his control over his new domain. When he saw me, he just scowled at me in disdain and bolted out of the cat flap. I have to admit that I was mortally offended and quite saddened by the obvious fact that he had clearly relegated me to the past. Oh well, it is good to see him safe and happy. And I know one day, when I am finally settled back here that I will get another kitty of my own.
In the meantime, I am looking forward to catching up with old school friends who live in the hills and going on long winter bush walks. And of course getting the HouseSit Match website up and running so we can offer all you out there the same wonderful opportunities that I am currently experiencing.
So anyway, heres to the next chapter of life in the hills area of Perth!
